Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival is always fun to see! There are flowers blooming around the park and topiaries of Disney Characters Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Bambi, Flower, and Thumper, Buzz Lightyear and Woody, Lady and the Tramp, Minnie Mouse and Pluto, Ranger Mickey celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, The Lion King, Peter Pan, Snow White, and at the Front Entrance Donald, Daisy, Huey, Dewey and Louie. There are many more character topiaries to see. There are lots of outdoor kitchens with a great selection of dishes and beverages. Our favorites were the Violet Lemonade from the Pineapple Promenade and the candied strawberries from China.

Must try foods: The violet lemonade and watermelon salad with feta cheese, pickled onions, and a reduced basaltic reduction

Pineapples growing at the Urban Farm Eats Outdoor Kitchen
Candied strawberries from the Lotus House Outdoor Kitchen (Absolutely Amazing!!)
The Violet Lemonade at the Pineapple Promenade is hands down the best thing I had at the Flower and Garden Festival!
I also recommend trying the beef brisket burnt ends hash with white cheddar fondue and pickled jalapenos from the American Smokehouse outdoor kitchen. The land-harvested filed greens with apples, dried blueberries, Stilon blue cheese and apple cider vinaigrette was light and refreshing. The only thing I wouldn't get again was the Frushi (Fruit Sushi) because it wasn't flavorful and only had a slight fruit taste. I think the idea of Frushi was adorable and it looks especially cute. My favorite alcoholic beverage was Joffrey's Frozen Chai Latte with Grey Goose Vodka.
May 30th, Memorial Day, is the last day of the Flower and Garden Festival so if you haven't been this would be a great weekend getaway trip! I hope everyone has a fun Memorial Day weekend!!
